Nutrition and Physical Activity Report Card Review

Ohio County School District will review the Nutrition and Physical Activity Report Card at the regular board meeting on January 16, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Ohio County Board of Education. 

Parents can email comments or questions about the wellness policy or nutrition and physical activity at their school to the Food Service Director, Dianna Wilson.

Ohio County Schools will be participating in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, Beaver Dam Elementary, Fordsvile Elementary, Horse Branch Elementary, Ohio County Middle School, Ohio County High School, Southern Elementary, Wayland Elementary, and Western Elementary will offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students due to the implementation of the Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2024-2025. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application.
